Course Outcome:
The course is designed for every student wishing to improve their understanding of the technology of the textiles industry. Textile fundamentals are- Textile Fibres, Filament Yarns and texturing, weaving, Printing.
3rd Semester

Paper Name: Resource Management.
Course Outcome:
The courses of Resource Management enable students to practice of Planning scheduling and allocating people, money and technology to a programme.
4th Semester

Paper Name: Life Span Development and Extension Education
Course Outcome:
The courses of life span Development provide knowledge about the full process of human development from conception to death. It is a holistic approach to understanding all of the physiological, cognitive, emotional and social chages that people go through.
Through Extension education students can learn a system of educational outreach that provides learning opportunities to people who are not attending regular formal schooling.

Paper Name: Basics of Interior Design and Hospitality Management.
Course Outcome:
Through the copurses of interior design students can learn about design, elements and principles of design, components of interior design.
Hospitality Management provides students some basics about the hospitality industry such as housekeeping, Management of Food service deparment, Front office department and Personal Management, Introduction to Travel & tourism.
6th Semester

Paper Name: Entrepreneunship Development and Enterprise Managementy.
Course Outcome:
The Socio economic environment in the entire North East region are changing very rapidly. The serviced sector is also growing very fast. In view of the changing senerio Department of Home Science with the courses Entrepreneurship Development and ample scope for educating the Home Science students for setting up of various service oriented enterprises such as food service, Home decorating, child care and maternal health, Rural development through extension education.
