CAREER COUNSELING ON SCOPES OF MEDIA STUDIES

A counseling session on various scopes of media studies was held on 11-10-2022 in the digital classroom of Dakshin Kamrup Girls’ Mirza. The session was organized by Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, DKGC-Mirza. The two faculties i.e Birina Das Nita Mali acted as the Resource Person for the session. The students pursuing their Bachelors’ Degree in various Departments of the College were the participants of the session. An overview of the importance of the media was included in the session together with other dynamics relating to media studies. All the participants were found to have gained the minimum bit of information on the topic.
OUTCOMES:
1. The students were able to acquire an overall knowledge on media studies.
2. The students shall have clear perception regarding their career while choosing media as their expertise.

The session was organized by Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, DKGC-Mirza. The two faculties i.e Birina Das Nita Mali acted as the Resource Person for the session.
